What's inside

Nine emails and a statement guide

Each email is timed to the free Grad Application EF Tracker and comes with a short note on why it works.

Faculty and letters

  • First contact with a potential advisor
  • A polite follow-up if there's no reply
  • Asking for a strong letter
  • The letter packet and the reminder
  • Thank-you and update after decisions

Logistics and interviews

  • Application fee waiver question
  • Interview accommodation request
  • Interview thank-you
  • A timeline for when to send each one

Statement of purpose

  • How to show fit: overlap, not a copy
  • Finding your through line
  • A fill-in outline
  • A checklist before you submit

Why I made it

Applying to grad school means writing a lot of emails to busy people, and nobody teaches you how. That's a hidden executive function load, and it falls hardest on people without someone to ask.

I mentor undergraduate researchers through this process. This kit is what I wish every applicant had. Pair it with the free tracker, which dates every step from your deadlines.
